Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

These lettuce wraps use ground meat which makes them a kid-friendly dinner choice.

Suggested meat:

2lbs ground chicken (or beef or turkey)

How to freeze and cook:

  1. Add raw ground chicken to freezer bag.

  2. Make sure sauce covers all sides of the meat to help prevent freezer burn.

  3. Close bag removing as much air as possible.

  4. Freeze flat.

  5. Thaw overnight in fridge.

  6. Dump in crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until chicken is tender.

  7. Break apart chicken and mix with sauce in slow cooker.

  8. Serve with large leaves of lettuce and rice.

Shopping List:

Lettuce - Romaine or Boston bib - could also use cabbage or jicama wraps
