Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring?
All you need to bring is a cooler with ice packs to store your meals in as we complete them and any meats needed for assembly. I also suggest bringing an apron, water bottle, and snacks or lunch for any kids that may be tagging along.
When does it start?
Each event begins promptly at 9AM and ends when the work is done. Please plan to stay until the end which is usually noon.
Can I change the meat from what you have on the menu?
Yes! These are ultimately your meals and you know what your family will enjoy. Feel free to switch chicken and pork, ground beef and ground turkey, chicken breasts and chicken thighs, and more. Then let me know what you discover!
I have special dietary needs. Can we customize the meals?
It depends on the restriction and the menu. Contact me and let's see what we can do!
How much does it cost?
Each meal costs $10.
How do I pay?
You can pay with cash, check, or Venmo.
I have a smaller family. Can I get smaller meals?
Yes! When you order, you can request your meals be split into two half-recipes.
I don’t have a lot of freezer space. Is that okay?
While the greatest benefit comes from having all your meals filled with meat and ready to cook, another possibility to conserve freezer space is freezing the meals without meat and adding the fresh meat the day you cook the meals.
What if I don't feel comfortable in the kitchen?
This is the best reason for meal-prepping with us! We train you as you work alongside others including experts and beginners. Additionally, all our meals come with cooking instructions and suggestions for sides to complete the meals.
Am I going to have fun?
Is the sky blue? It is impossible not to have fun in a kitchen full of friends all working together to fill their freezers and calendars with delicious, homemade meals.
Can I bring my kid(s) with me?
While there is no structured child-care, kids are welcome to tag along.
Are you taking COVID precautions?
Our goal is to keep these events illness-free and ask that you assess your health and the health of anyone coming with you before you come. If you have symptoms of Covid-19, please call and make arrangements with me in regards to your order.
What if I can't make it?
The last day to cancel at a full refund is the Monday before the event. If you need to cancel after that date, you will still be expected to supply labor and pay for your order. You can either find a friend to work the event for you, or pay an additional $3/meal for labor missed.
