Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

This slow cooker soup is hearty and comforting.

Suggested meat:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, fat trimmed off

How to freeze and cook:

  1. Add chicken breasts to freezer bag.

  2. Shake bag to evenly cover chicken breasts with seasoning.

  3. Close bag removing as much air as possible.

  4. Freeze flat.

  5. Thaw overnight in fridge.

  6. Dump meal into crock pot, add 4 cups water and cook on low for six hours.

  7. Shred chicken and stir.

  8. Serve with fresh bread and salad.
