Ground Beef Stroganoff

This is a family favorite! So quick and easy to cook up on the stove top, your kids could make you dinner - with supervision, of course.

Suggested meat:

1.5lb lean ground beef, cooked with 3/4 cup sweet onion, diced

Additional Ingredients:

3/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

How to freeze and cook:

  1. Freeze flat.

  2. Thaw overnight in fridge.

  3. Place meat mixture in large pot on stove top with egg noodles and 4 cups of water.

  4. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked through, about 9-10 minutes.

  5. Stir in sour cream until heated through, about 1-2 minutes.

  6. Serve immediately. May garnish with fresh parsley and serve with salad or steamed vegetables.
