Ham and Cheese Quiche

Take mornings up a notch with this breakfast pastry.

How to freeze and cook:

  1. Freeze flat.

  2. Thaw egg mixture overnight in fridge BUT keep pie crust frozen.

  3. Place a cookie sheet in the oven and preheat oven to 400F. Once preheated, remove cookie sheet from oven and place frozen pie crust onto hot cookie sheet (do not remove pie crust from the disposable pan). Pour egg mixture into pie crust. Give it a gentle stir to distribute the ingredients evenly.

  4. Carefully transfer hot cookie sheet and quiche to preheated oven and cook for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted in the center of the pie comes out clean..

  5. If desired, after 20 minutes, remove quiche and loosely cover the edges of the crust with foil or a silicon pie crust cover to avoid burning. Return to oven for another 15-20 minutes. Do this step quickly to avoid shocking the quiche too much.

  6. Once baking is finished, let the quiche stand 5-10 minutes before slicing. Cut into 6 pieces.
