Steak Fajitas
This stove top meal consists of beef strips with bell pepper and onion in a savory marinade.
Suggested meat:
2.5 pounds boneless top sirloin or other steak
How to freeze and cook:
Add steak to marinade freezer bag. Massage bag until sauce evenly covers steak.
Close bag removing as much air as possible. Return to labeled bag with onions and peppers.
Freeze flat. Thaw overnight in fridge.
Heat a few teaspoons of oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Stir fry onion and peppers until soft, about 3 minutes. Remove vegetables to plate.
Add beef to skillet and stir fry until browned on both sides. Remove skillet from heat.
Slice meat across grain, then return meat strips and veggies to skillet, stirring to combine. Cook to desired doneness.
Serve with tortillas, cheese, and toppings of choice.
