Zuppa Toscana with Sweet Potatoes
This slow cooker soup has a bit of spicy kick.
Suggested meat:
1lb ground spicy sausage, raw - use mild sausage for less spice
How to freeze and cook:
Add meat to freezer bag.
Ensure sauce evenly covers meat.
Close bag removing as much air as possible.
Freeze flat.
Thaw overnight in fridge.
Pour into slow cooker and add 8 cups water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until sausage is cooked through.
ADD 1 cup heavy cream and break apart sausage. Stir to heat through.
Serve with fresh bread.
